Our Marble Jar

Posted by: room23century | May 9, 2008 | 4 Comments |

In Mr. Macklin’s class we have a marble jar. Why do we have a marble jar? Well, beacause our class is sometimes really, really, good and that is why we have a marble jar. But how will Mr.Macklin reward us? Every time we are good Mr.Macklin puts around three marbles in the marble jar. When the marble jar is full we get to PARTY! We tell our parents about the party and sometimes they give us chips….etc. So, every time we have a party don’t be sick that day!

Photo Booth

Posted by: room23century | May 9, 2008 | 6 Comments |

This is what happened! It all started when Mr.Davies bought us an iMac. We found out that there’s this software called Photo Booth. we were really excited. Mr. Macklin started to take pictures of us. You can even change the effects you can also make the effects into a mirror where two of you are in the picture. There is an effect where it makes an x-ray of you. There are lots of other things too!

Wow, Look at Our Comments!

Posted by: room23century | May 9, 2008 | No Comment |

You have been posting so many comments, it’s amazing! Take a look at the comments from Salsabeal’s Talent Show posting. There are two people from New Zealand who have posted there. One is a teacher and one is a student I think. I have added a link on our “Blogroll” to their class site in Auckland. Take a look. They also all have their own personal blogs. Take a look at those too. There are links on the class page. You can post comments on their pages too.

The Talent Show: Century Idol

Posted by: room23century | May 8, 2008 | 4 Comments |

Guess what?! On Friday the talent show “Century Idol” will be presenting to the parents a nice dance or song or instrumental music such as, piano. recorder etc , but if you are not going to family fun night, you can still see it at school May 8.  I think it will be awesome like last year.  I have seen a lot of talent show performers do thier talent for the show already but a lot are a lot of surprises. So I am looking forward to seeing them. By:Salsa

The Computer Lab

Posted by: room23century | May 8, 2008 | 1 Comment |

I love our computer lab, I always have . But I especially love it now because of the new computers. The best thing about it is that they have flat screens. Now of course, there’s not enough flat screens for everyone but if you get there first grab one quick. The other computers are good too. We also have a projector and a screen I have one at home but it doesn’t work and it’s not black or flat screen. so I hope you all have fun on our new computers.
